Like many photographers and Graphic Artists these days, I work alone from a home studio. The internet and the portability of my equipment afford me an independent lifestyle unencumbered by a fixed studio. When you call me, I'm on my cell phone and could be in Detroit, Las Vegas or Los Angeles photographing fashion, families or food. I may also be sitting in my upstairs office preparing a magazine layout or ad materials for a customer in Canada or Florida. I love this life and wouldn't trade it.

In relation to my experience, I spent a career as an executive chef for fine dining and upscale resorts while building my skills in part-time graphic design and the addictive hobby of photography. In 2000 I decided to switch to full time graphic design and professional photography, specializing in family and product imagery. With a background in food and management, I naturally migrated into the art end of photography with an eye to fashion and food images.
